BEC Scallion pancake (egg cheese bacon): big portion, delicious flavor, great crunchiness. reaaaallyyyy good. Mochi donut: not my favorite. I’ve honestly tried better ones in the past and this one felt like a very undercooked churro/doughnut. Chocolate chip cookie: amazinnnngggggggg. Crunchy and goey and sweet with perfect amount of sprinkled salt.

We’ve been here twice now, and both times the line outside tells you everything you need to know about the reputation. Win Son Bakery is a Taiwanese-American counter-service café on Graham Avenue in East Williamsburg , from the same team behind Win Son restaurant directly across the street. Fast casual — you order at the counter, grab your own utensils, and they run the food out to you. First visit didn’t impress me much. Second visit was better, but my overall take hasn’t changed dramatically. The bacon egg and cheese on a scallion pancake is a smart fusion concept — Taiwanese and American breakfast colliding in one sandwich. The scallion pancake is an upgrade from the standard milk bun for an extra charge , and the idea works. That said, it runs heavy and oily, and I wasn’t a fan of the cheese they used. Personally, a bacon egg and cheese should have American cheese and nothing else. That’s just where I stand. One sandwich is enough for two people — keep that in mind before you over-order. The mochi donut was outstanding. We got the plain sugar version and it delivered exactly what you want — chewy, light, just sweet enough. The Xian Bing was super juicy and flavorful. Aut

wow win son bakery is such a gem, the pastries are unreal and the savory stuff hits just as hard. i grabbed the classic egg and cheese scallion pancake and tied to save some for later but every bite was too good - rich, balanced, and not too heavy (although appears pretty heavy initially) which i really loved. great spot for a quick patio and read stop in the neighborhood, and i’d go for it if you’re anywhere nearby

Tried the scallion pancake sandwich, fried chicken, and soy milk at Win Son Bakery and everything was amazing. The scallion pancake was crispy and flavorful, the fried chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the soy milk tasted super fresh. My friend got the burger and loved it too. Really fun spot with a great mix of Taiwanese comfort food and modern NYC bakery vibes.

This place is absolutely amazing. Luckily if you’re celiac, there are plenty of options. I recommend the egg & cheese on the GF mochi bun with their hot sauce - 10/10. Never tasted anything like it. And then there’s the mochi donut. Wow. The best GF donut I’ve ever had. I also recommend the GF sesame cookie. Coffee was really nice. All the staff are super nice too! A must visit in NY.
